I started Noisy Creek Tipi Poles after being approached by Jim "Suff" Suffield. He was planning to retire from the business and was wanting to keep the tradition alive. I had been cutting and peeling poles for Suff for approximately 25 years. I agreed and the rest is, as they say, "history".

I have always enjoyed the work and the travel associated with the poles. Since taking it over fulltime, I have enjoyed meeting some interesting and colorful folks.
