What is a Yurt? A yurt is a portable, round tent structure covered with skins or felt and is traditionally used as a dwelling by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia. What is a Wigwam? A wigwam is a dome-shaped hut or tent, which is insulated by fastening mats, skins, bark or fabric over a framework of poles. They were traditionally used as lodging by many different Native American cultures. |
